Description

Dr. Eddie Webb and Keegan Choffat visit with MCC English Faculty, First-Year Composition Coordinator, and Faculty President-Elect Dr. Paulette Stevenson.

The discussion explores the time-tested value of rhetorical decision-making composition taught in this early age of LLM-based artificial intelligence. Conversations made include comparing the ethical use of AI tools by faculty and students, the potential of individual voice and reason being ‘flattened’ by their use, the goals of AI-technology companies in education, as well as ‘outliving the robots’ in the classic 'relevancy crisis' of AI.

This academic year, Dr. Eddie Webb and Keegan Choffat of the NMLE at Mesa Community College will continue highlighting our outstanding faculty from across the district and the impactful work they do for our students and our community.

Enjoy!
