Description

One of the main reason of starting this show was being able to create and share conversations with some of my favorite people, and this is no exception. Andrew Johnson is the co-host of the Short Shift Podcast - a part of the Black 'N Gold podcast network - to talk all things Bruins, Boston, and behaviorism.

We start the show talking about the entitlement of the city of Boston, and why the fans of the cities sports teams refuse to be patient. We discuss the core reasons why Boston sports fans act the way they do and why Andrew and Thomas are trying to shake the stigma of the Boston sports landscape.

We also talk about Andrews educational background - as a person with cerebral palsy, he opens up about how important it is for him to find a path professionally & also personally, to provide an outreach for others that he didn't have himself growing up.

We get into podcasting: the format of Short Shift, the importance of interacting with other teams fans/special interests, the construction of the show & the passion it takes to perfect delivering content in the modern era of podcasting.

We finish the show with a long-winded Nova Scotia hockey debate: how do Boston-based Bruins fans see Brad Marchand? Andrew peels the onion on where Brad stands in Bruins history from a true New England perspective.

Please go check out the Short Shift Podcast anywhere podcasts can be heard. Endless thank yous to Andrew for joining me, and Thomas for letting his side kick be my side kick for a show!
