Nova Scotia held provincial elections on the 17th August, which were won in a shock victory by the opposition Progressive Conservatives. We dig into the runners and riders and the main issues in the election. But with a snap federal election upcoming in September, it wouldn't make much sense to leave Canada without previewing events at the national level, where Justin Trudeau is hoping to turn his minority government into a majority one.
