in the Story of The Grinch! During this series, we have read the familiar Dr. Seuss story and
scripture to help us grow in our faith as we prepare for the birth of Jesus and the Christmas
season. Advent, a Latin word which means “coming,” helps us to prepare our hearts through
worship, devotion, and the Advent wreath for receiving the light of the world once more. Today,
we light the fourth candle which symbolizes the peace Christ brings to our life and world.
