Join Pastor James and Kingswood Church as we begin our new sermon series, Faith on the Red Carpet: Experiencing Faith in Cinema and Song. For seven weeks, we will explore scripture through Broadway musicals and Hollywood films. We will learn what they can teach us about faith, following Jesus, and living as disciples. The shows include Beehive, The Lorax, The Greatest Showman, Funny Girl, Legally Blonde, Pay It Forward, and Ragtime. There will be special music from each film and/or musical in worship each Sunday. Today, we experience the musical, Beehive, and learn how to seek empowerment, courage, and transformation.
