Join Rev. James Preston and Kingswood Church as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, a day of rejoicing in the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. Celebrated 50 days after Easter, this festival is rooted in the Jewish celebration of Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks. The colors are red, orange, and yellow – symbolic of fire. We hear the amazing story of the coming of the Holy Spirit in fire, wind, word, and power in Acts 2 which brings 3000 persons to follow Jesus. We also celebrate our graduates today and recognize the amazing journeys of each. Joyous Pentecost to you!
