Join Rev. James Preston and Kingswood Church as we celebrate the promise of resurrection and new life on this Easter Sunday. Easter leads us to rejoice in Christ’s victory over death and sin, and the empty tomb reminds us that evil and injustice do not have the final word. Today, we hear the Easter story from the Gospel of Luke in which the women discover an empty tomb where they are challenged not to look for the living among the dead. In addition, two disciples who are deeply grieved and sad encounter the risen Christ in the breaking of bread. A table becomes a place of hope, restoration, and joy!
