Bobby Stutzman and Luke Mohatt grew up in Seward, Nebraska and both graduated from Seward High School in 1996. In Episode 4, Luke provides our listeners with a small insight into his experiences growing up in a small town as a gay man. Knowing there weren't much, if any, policies in place to protect the Rights of LGBTQ students, they both wanted to follow up Episode 4 with a more indepth conversation. This time focusing on where rights and a complete lack of acceptance was in the mid-nineties and compare where both are at today almost 25 years later.
