In this episode, we chatted with Andrew Gobran who leads the People team at Doist. We learned how Doist does their remote hire onboarding. It's been touted as one of the best company onboarding processes, and it's also done asynchronously. We spoke about how to create authentic relationships during the onboarding process, while at the same time, getting to the job as quickly and successfully as possible. Two of the key takeaways for us were to 1) involve new hires in refining the onboarding process. Don't just ask for feedback 2) always be improving the onboarding experience.
