State of the Arts Episode 184: The Juneteenth Special now available on Spotify! State of the Arts celebrates every African American creative who was a guest on this podcast in commemoration of Juneteenth. This episode is a toast to all the captivating interviews they have blessed us with for the past four years. State of the Arts had the privilege of hosting various talented African American artists including three boutique owners/fashion designers, a blues singer/model/photographer, an actress/makeup artist, a contestant on The Voice, a guitarist, an off-off Broadway actor/director/writer, a stage performer/costume designer, a gospel drummer, a published poet, a video producer, a rapper, a stand-up comedian/professional MC and a painter. This special episode is a stroll down memory lane as I play portions of State of the Arts episodes that featured African American creatives.
