As all of you avid State of the Arts followers recall there was an Episode 57 and an Episode 59. The mystery of the missing episode has now been revealed! In Episode 59 I interviewed Jeff Free the guitarist of the Moonshine Runners, a Queens-based alternative rock band. Most recently I've interviewed the entire band for Episode 90. As a prequel to Episode 59, elusive Episode 58 has now been released! Co-host Derek Upright and I pay an homage to The Moonshine Runners in this episode as they prepare for their concert tonight at 8:00pm at the Brooklyn Music Kitchen. Drummer Noe, bassist Erik, guitarist Aaron and guitarist Jeff make up this hip indie New York group that will be taking center stage tonight. They will be performing their new single "Tough Love," along with other original works and covers. This is a never-done-before episode as it is the second half of a two-parter. This is also a ground-breaking episode because of its Saturday release. Never before have I released two episodes in one week.
