What are you thankful to the Lord for? Are you thankful for anything or everything, good times, brings joy and we delight in what God has done for us. What about the bad times. Is God the same God in good times and bad times? Is there any delight in bad times? Romans 8:28KJV says And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Please note: (1) all things work together for good to them that love God. The question for joy in bad times may in fact center around your love for God. (2) according to his purpose: have you considered the bad times are by God’s will and purpose to draw us closer to Him?
I have so much to thank the Lord for. I've learned to take nothing for granted, to accept that I am weak, I lack wisdom, and to recognize there is so much I don't know. Therefore, I thank the Lord for blessings, mercy, grace, wisdom, strength, His love, and forgiveness of my sins.
