On Tuesday, February 9, 2008, nine year old Shannon Matthews disappeared from school. Twenty four days later, she was found alive at her "uncle" Michael Donovan's home. Michael was arrested for kidnapping and false imprisonment, and during his interrogation, he said the whole thing was Karen Matthews' idea. A 24 day investigation would open up years of family secrets and lies.
Was Karen the mastermind? Who else was really involved?
