On June 19, 2015, 68 year old Shirley Carter was found dead in her Lacona, Iowa home. Her son Jason was later accused by his own family, and charged with first degree murder. In the conclusion of this case, Jason goes on trial and is found not guilty. Shirley's case is now closed and unsolved.
