On July 25, 1988, child star Judith Barsi and her mother Maria were killed in their West Hills, Los Angeles home. Two days later, Judith's father Josef would take his own life.
Josef was an abusive man, who was jealous of his daughter's success. No one took Maria or Judith's claims seriously, and a rising star lost her life at the hands of her own father.
