We have come to the end of the Around The Country Series - we will revisit at the end of the year.
To round up the season I have a humble interview with Rayma Jenkins. Rayma is a kindred spirit, she and her husband run the beautiful, homey, Cobden Gardens BnB. Cobden Gardens is nestled in the stunning Hawke’s Bay region. They are known for their hospitality, where guests can enjoy generous countryside breakfasts, lazy city walks, and dreamy sunsets.

In this episode, Rayma and I dive into a discussion of how Bed and Breakfasts can better market themselves, understand the changes of the digital age, how to get more direct bookings, and how to go further with less marketing budget. Bed and breakfasts have changed for ever due to Covid-19 and guest expectations! Guests have higher, more specific expectations and want the 'full' travel experience. Guest not only want to be looked after, but also to be guided by their host who is an expert in their area.
