Alvin has been working in real estate for over 35 years and his portfolio spans over 1,300 housing units and is currently in the acquisition stages of building an additional 20,000 units. Alvin is also the President of Hope Housing Foundation, which is a nonprofit housing development company that gives tenants a place where they “Get to Live” instead of “Have to Live”. And to top it off, he is the founder of ‘Multifamily Monopoly’, an education platform, teaching aspiring real estate enthusiasts how to purchase multifamily assets.
In this episode, Alvin shares his vision of this multimillion-dollar housing project, that will provide affordable housing to his community and beyond. We discuss what giving back looks like, on both the giving and receiving end. His purpose is rooted in making an impact on his family and his community, establishing great partnerships, dreaming big, and most importantly, to never, ever give up!
