This week’s guest is the talented and prolific filmmaker Michael Parks Randa! Mike has shot music videos for bands such as Deer Tick, MeWithoutYou, The Menzingers, Air Traffic Controller, and, earlier this year, collaborated with 30 different cinematographers from across the country to remotely create the video for Delta Spirit’s How 'Bout It.
He joined us this week to discuss what it was like to undertake the unique challenge of remotely directing a video during a pandemic, how his passion for shooting music videos came about, and about his experience shooting the upcoming feature-length musical, Best Summer Ever, which recently premiered at the South By Southwest Festival.
