Recorded 18 June 2020 - Victor Alvarez is a Spanish fashion designer. After studying business management at University of Navarre he graduated at Istituto Marangoni in Fashion Design. He sold his graduate collection to a charity foundation in Hamburg, helping children with cancer. First he has been working as a womenswear designer for the Spanish pret a porter brand Angel Schlesser and as a menswear designer for American luxury brand FER and British premium brand Jaeger. He is currently working as a menswear designer for British supplier Dewhirst, getting deeper knowledge about sustainable production and design for the etailer Asos and the retailer Topman. Among 147 suppliers for Asos, Dewhirst is the third biggest supplier, manufacturing over 200.000 garments per season.
