Trigger warning. In this episode we chat with Ashleigh mom of Toasty about her traumatic past, having both parents brutally murdered and how she learned to maneuver in this world with her new mom! We talk about plushies and how they help ground her during panic and anxiety and help her feel less alone in a sometimes overwhelming world. It’s not an easy listen but Ashleigh is a strong inspirational woman and I very much enjoyed speaking with her. I think we can all learn a bit from her.
