LaShonda Renea Maxfield is an attorney by profession but possesses a profound passion to empower individuals through proactive, purposeful planning. She identifies as a Contingency Planning Strategist and often challenges her clients and mentees to Re-Negotiate their life, health, and career choices.

Since 2000, LaShonda has harbored a deep interest in nutrition, recognizing the immense power of using food as fuel for a healthier, more fulfilled life. She embarked on her plant-based journey in 2006 and has since hosted various vegan challenges, grocery tours, and in-person meal preps. LaShonda is the proud founder of Primarily Plant Based Vegan. 

She rejects an all-or-nothing mindset, understanding that it can set the stage for giving up and setbacks. Instead, she guides her clients towards making incremental whole food choices, emphasizing the importance of self-compassion over the pursuit of perfection.
