Let's talk about affirmations. We do them ALL ๐๐ผTHE ๐๐ผTIME ๐๐ผon this podcast, so what are affirmations and how do we use them? Positive thinking and "toxic positivity" plague the territories of social media everywhere, from infographics and unassuming self-care animations, but it's easy to conflate delusion and simply ignoring your problems with positive and affirmative action. We'll clear some of that up and we'll also discuss how Queer people can use affirmations to heal their bodies and minds.

When we come out, it doesnโt always turn out to be a gay, rainbow-filled love-fest like we imagine. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community are often plagued by self-loathing, intimacy issues, depression, and anxiety.
