Description

Mamie Till Mobley was an activist and educator. She is also the mother of fourteen year old Emmett Till her son who was brutally murdered in Mississippi for allegedly flirting with a white woman. Mamie taught in the Chicago school system and was heavily involved in activism during the Civil Rights Movement after the death of her son. 

It's been a great opportunity for us to learn and connect with so many colleagues, new listeners and friends!
