In this episode of the FanGirlHour, I chat with my good friend, Kurk Kasparian, about his lifelong love of the X-Men and how his first initial love of it brought about his overall acceptance of himself which allowed him to become comfortable in his own skin and pursue his calling.
Kurk Kasparian is a film producer, actor, and award-winning director who has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, such as Reese Witherspoon, Michael Biehn, and Jennifer Lopez. He's vegan and loves animals more than people - which sometimes makes it difficult for him to work in an industry that often exploits them. Kurk's secret passion for the superhero genre is no secret anymore- his favorite comic book is X-Men. Kurk is an up-and-coming film director, and recently directed his first feature film, a romantic comedy called "The Last Kiss". Details on where to watch it will be released soon! He also directed a short film, a dark comedy called "happy Prank day" it has won 9 nominations and 8 awards for best comedy, best cast ensemble, and best director.
