Meet Anja - an AMAZING 23-year-old who was born with a serious and chronic illness called the VACTERL association.
Her book “Behind the Smile” tells her story of her journey with this disorder (an acronym for Vertebral defects, Anal atresia, Cardiac defects, Tracheo-esophageal fistula, Renal anomalies, and Limb abnormalities).
Anja is a true testament to resilience, strength, and inspiration.
She loves to normalise disability and is now an author, keynote speaker, model and business owner for disability advocacy.
It was a true honour to listen to her amazing story.
