And on Hidden Gems this week, we bring you Boiling Point (2021) starring the venerable Stephen Graham (Snatch, The Irishman, Boardwalk Empire). In it he plays ‘Andy’, head chef at an upmarket restaurant in London, on a night that slips away from him. The night in question brings it all. From smug food inspectors, tardy staff, overbookings, a tense reunion with a celebrity chef, poisoned patrons, and to top it off, his own personal issues with alcohol. This is a night no chef would want crammed into a film, which is simply unmissable.
