We’ve hit another milestone on the show folks. You’re listening to the 200th episode of The Flixters Podcast and what better way than to celebrate that than talking about a creepy, horror film called The Black Phone?
Yes, 200 episodes in and The Flixters are still going strong. We have the return of special guest Emmanuel who lends his charm and wit during proceedings.
On the show we discuss director Scott Derrickson’s (Doctor Strange) latest offering starring Ethan Hawke. In a small US town, school children are being grabbed from the street in broad daylight by a masked figure and it’s only a matter of time before ‘Finney Shaw’ (Mason Thames) is the next victim. But there’s a twist. A disconnected black phone in the kidnapper’s basement is somehow able to receive phone calls from the beyond, and only Finney is able to hear it.
