The Phil Jackson Theory is the idea that the only "True Contenders" are teams that reach 40 wins before getting 20 losses. Since 1980, all but 4 champions have followed this rule. There are 3 teams that follow that rule this year, and it seems very likely one of them is taking home the chip. The Suns are a team that does not fit that rule, but may very well be contending for a championship this season. We saw a ton of different trades at the trade deadline, so today gives us a good opportunity to talk about what we've seen from each new team so far. Enjoy!
