In this monologue with myself I’m coming to terms of letting go of “hero worshipping” others - aka putting people on a pedestal like wow superhuman greatness. Because in fact by doing this 1) I fail to see others are only human and err to fall short of my expectations leading to disappointment and more severely 2) I subjugate myself by putting myself down or beneath.
