In this first episode of the season, I had a great conversation with Andrew Paris who grew up in Summerside, Prince Edward Island where his family was one of a few Black families on the island at the time. As a young person, Andrew struggled to be proud of his Blackness and has come full circle as he now helps others see the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion when it comes to engaging BIPOC youth in sports.
