In this episode you will meet, Leslie McCurdy who was born in Windsor, ON. Her mother was born in Ann Arbor Michigan and her father was born in London ON. Leslie is a writer, choreographer, producer, and actor and has performed in two - one women plays for the past 20 plus years - one title "The Spirit of Harriet Tubman" and the other "Things My Fore-Sisters Saw". Leslie talks to us about her ancestors, who she says are always with her just over her left shoulder, her father, Dr. Howard McCurdy, and her ongoing career as a writer, choreographer, producer, and actor. Leslie also shares her thoughts about why she thinks it's important that everyone's stories be told.
