We are a bit late in releasing this episode. The conversation for this episode was sparked by the Joe Rogan controversy of Spotify being pushed to remove him from their platform for misinformation. Alan and Bre talk about the importance of having access to all information and also all opinions in order to formulate your own. Alan and Bre use examples of the pandemic- vaccines, masks- as a way to exemplify the labels and categories people are placed into and then ultimately defined as being a "certain kind of person" from other people. Beliefs are not mutually exclusive of being a good human or a jerk. Disagreement does not mean hate. It is hard to find the balance of where to speak up about something and when to stay quiet. Just be a good human! Because the power of the mirror effect… you will get good humans back.
