The town, named Onil, has been widely known for its doll making for more than a century, yet in recent years, they began broadening the types of dolls they made, one of them being a doll with Down syndrome.
Only last year, the town made headlines across Spain after a local collection of four dolls with Down syndrome won the country’s much-covetedtoy of the year’ prize.
