Charlotte watches Darcy whenever they are at Rosings, and whenever he comes to Hunsford; but without much success. He certainly looks at her friend a great deal, but the expression of that look is disputable. She often doubts whether there is much admiration in it, and sometimes it seems nothing but absence of mind.
