Description

Do you have piles of things everywhere and are not sure what to do with them? It starts small and before you know it, the room has been taken over by stacks and piles everywhere. It is not uncommon for those who struggle with depression and anxiety to have these experiences. Today, we talk with Theo of JDog Junk Removal to discuss how to handle the piles that surround us.

Theodore Proia, owner of JDog Junk Removal was in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in the infantry with first battalion eighth marines, The Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, and the First Battalion Third Marines He deployed three times to include Iraq and Afghanistan. Upon exiting the Marines he joined the Maryland Army National Guard and served another three years in his local community with the 175th. As a civilian, he was a canine explosive detection officer working at the State Department, International Monetary Fund, and many other venues in the Washington D.C and Maryland area. Theodore then went back to Afghanistan for 2 more rotations to serve as a canine explosive detection handler contractor at The American Embassy in Afghanistan.

Theodore graduated from Colorado Technical University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice - homeland security and emergency management. Then in 2019 graduated from Colorado Technical University with his Masters of Science in Criminal Justice- Homeland security.

Theodore Opened JDog Junk Removal and Hauling at the Elkridge location at the end of 2020.
