We all live by a timeline. Some more than others.
Is it right? Is it wrong? Does it stifle us or challenge us to meet goals?
We don’t know.
But we think, the more we talk about it, perhaps we should just do away with the timeline. Maybe as females, we need to normalize the fact that we do NOT have to live by a timeline. Life is messy, unpredictable, we’re ever evolving. And with all the uncertainty that comes with that, how can we expect to live perfectly by a timeline society says we must adhere to?
Yes, physical and biological factors are at play. But, we’re not perfect and we may miss the mark at times… or all of the time. So, let’s give ourselves grace, let’s throw away the playbook, embrace life as it is and trust that maybe a higher power knows best and things often seem to work out when we stop trying to control the uncontrollable…
