Description

This week, Cate and Liz kick-off a new series on Famous Fake News where they cover infamous cases of members of the media who have fabricated stories. They begin with former Washington Post journalist Janet Cooke who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1981 for an article written about an eight-year-old heroin addict. The story was later discovered to have been fabricated and Cooke returned the Pulitzer, the only person to date to do so.
