The aftermath of the battle of Hopper’s Station weighs heavily on the soul of Ryan Kingsford, the superhero known as Spearhawk. He helplessly watched Sleek recklessly fire a missile at his friend, Waterfall, severely injuring her in the process. He had to stop Waterfall’s husband, his friend, Clan, from outright killing Sleek in retaliation. Then the Board of Inquiry arrived and teleported the terrified Waterfall away against her will. As the weeks have gone by, Ryan is left with more questions than answers. Tired of running into dead end after dead, Ryan decides to go looking for answers for himself. Unfortunately, his little sister April has decided to tag along.
