17 hours and 53 minutes of swimming is a phenomenal task, doing that while crossing the English Channel described as "The Everest of Swims" for its currents, rip tides, chuck in getting stung by a jelly fish in the first hour, being scrapped by 200 meters worth of kelp, dodging oil tankers and an encounter with a man sized seal, swimmer of the English Channel Mr Hugh Bennett describes his adventure, training and life up and till that point.
It would be fair to say Hugh has had some life experiences, 3 tours in Iraq & Afghanistan, security work during the political uprising of Egypt & Libya, life changing surgery, and one mammoth task of swimming from England to France.
