Description

Host Scott is joined by special guest Liam H Dempsey to deep dive (pun very much intended) into Tony Scott's submarine classic "Crimson Tide."

Over the course of the episode we talk about whether this is Tony Scott's best movie, whether it is the best submarine movie ever and how the film seems even better now than it did back in the 90s. Plus, we get into the messy business of how the script got completed (and Tarantino's weird contribution to it), how the navy were not a fan of this production and, of course, we talk extensively about the heavyweight act-off between the late, great Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington.
