This session we had the sincere privilege of sitting down with Max Altmark aka Optimystic of the Lifted Mindz crew. Max is a hip-hop artist, beat maker, producer, entrepreneur, and generally interesting human being. We talked about what got him into art and music, and how he became a part of the blooming artistic community here in the Twin Cities. We discussed the balance that every artist has to strike between artistic creation (the creative) and the marketing and sales (business). Max paints with words for a living, and he’s damn good at it, so he definitely shined in the podcast environment. Enjoy!
