We’ve all heard our boy Rumi say it: “the wound is where the light enters”. For me, the wound is also where the laser enters and zaps away the follicles of my coarse, thick hair. In this episode I’m going to talk about my relationship with my body hair and what this journey of stripping my body of its hair has been like. It’s funny, it’s traumatizing, it’s vulnerable, it’s TMI, and it’s important. My brown girls know this shit like the back of their hands.
