Kojo Mensah-Bonsu was born and raised in North London, England to Ghanaian parents. While still in high school, Kojo moved to Washington D.C. by himself before playing basketball at Washington State University. After his college basketball days were over, Kojo played professional basketball in Europe for 6 years before retiring. Post basketball, Kojo has established a career in Corporate America on the business side of information technology. That has encompassed IT hardware and software sales, IT consulting services and software virtualization. Currently he occupies a leadership role for a global organization in the United States. Kojo feels blessed to have a full and happy life with his wife and 3 kids.
