Small Pox swept through Boston, Massachusetts in the year 1721 wiping out 14% of Bostonians. It all could have and should have been avoided. Why wasn't it avoided? White Puritans decided they would rather die than enact an idea from Cotton Mather or his slave, Onesismus. This is not a problem that is simply relegated to the past. There are many today who are unwilling to listen to the "other", even to their own detriment.
This podcast is birthed out of John chapter 17, verse 21 when Jesus prays that we would be one, just as He and the Father are one so that the whole world may believe. 17:21 is podcast all about shining a light on the path to authentic unity. In season one, we will shine a light on what the minority sees that the majority does not.
