This week Naveen Selvanathan joins me for a really long chat about his journey.
Naveen is a visual development artist, currently working with DreamWorks feature animation in Los Angeles. He is an amazing artist with great knowledge about lighting. We talk about his experiences growing up in Chennai, getting an Engineering degree and then shifting gears to get trained professionally as a visual development artist.
He takes us through the process of creating an animated feature film, things he learnt while working on movies like Smurfs, Hotel Transylvania, Spiderman into the spiderverse and more.
