Mary McPherson is an Ojibwa artist and member of the Couchiching First Nation. Growing up in Thunder Bay, Mary's art was heavily influenced by the family stories and lived experiences which informed her reality. In this episode we discuss some of her early memories of discrimination, what she hopes to accomplish by studying law, and the political and societal contexts surrounding her pieces.
