Description

Ep. 26- In this episode I share A LOT of my story- from my brief run in with domestic violence, to my formerly held belief in the feminist lie that women (or anyone for that matter) can be promiscuous without consequences, both emotionally and spiritually. I share how I've taken my past experiences and reframed the sex conversation with my own children, and how we as parents need to be hyper aware of what out culture is teaching our children on the subject as well.
During THE SUMMER SERIES I dive deeper into my personal story, sharing hard things and challenging moments where God has SHOWN UP and given me TONS of grace (love and compassion that I don't deserve).
Over the first 22 episodes of the All My Favorite People podcast I have tried my best to shine my little light on stories from people who are doing good and hard things in this world. People who are genuinely "being the change they want to see in the world." I know I've chosen some tougher, not as talked about topics that might be considered "hot-button", but my goal has always been to look at our current culture through the lens of the Bible.
While I realize that is counter-cultural in every way, I wanted THE SUMMER SERIES to be my opportunity to share more about why I personally love God so much, what He has "saved me" from, and how I have, at age 38, come to a place in my life where I WANT to follow His instructions. I find the road to be easier, and the burden lighter, by choosing this life.
