Today on JFS in Conversation is Indigenous Tokenization, Political Repression and more with Tchadas Leo! 

Tchadas Leo grew up in the Homalco Reserve in Campbell River, Vancouver Island. Between 2010 and 2008, Tchadas received numerous scholarships and awards to pursue his filming/broadcasting career including the SABAR Strategic Alliance of Broadcasters, the 2009 Victoria Foundation, the 2009 Irving K Baker BC Scholarship Society, the 2009-2010 National Achievement Post-Secondary Education Award and the 2008 Winner, Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Arts’ BC 150 Youth Video Contest: “What BC Means to Me”. Most recently, in 2020, Tchadas signed a contract by with Check TV, to produce a series of podcast/TV interviews called “Our Native Land.”  Tchadas has now been accepted in the BCIT Broadcasting and Journalism diploma and intends to graduate by May 2023.
