Welcome to our second last August episode, featuring Michelle Liu! This week, we'll be talking about Intersectional Feminism. Join us as we ponder the intricacies of this topic, our own experiences, and how this all fits into the world we live in today. We hope you enjoy it!
Michelle is a seventeen-year-old student attending Unionville High School’s music program for piano. Having a passion for social change and world issues, they partake in many nonprofit organizations, including starting a community chapter of MEDLIFE, being a director on Project 5K, a youth volunteering organization, and volunteering for Education For All. Over the past few years, Michelle has developed an interest in political theory ranging from queer theory, to disability theory, to questions of race and identity. Beyond high school, Michelle would like to obtain a degree in Political Science and hopefully pursue research in the social sciences and humanities. You can find them participating in mock trials, doing puzzles, hiking, hanging out with their cat, Pablo, or at the farmers market in their free time.
