Description

On today's episode of JFS in Conversation, we cover Fast Fashion and Sustainability with Christine Ahanotu. Christine Ahanotu is a multicultural writer and travel blogger with deep connections to the natural world. Raised by an Irish mother and Nigerian father, her parents working class standing meant that many habits passed on were unconsciously sustainable. Now, in a world increasingly mired in waste and consumerism, she is spreading the message of behavioural sustainability to the masses. Currently writing her first book on the invisible cost of mass consumerism, she seeks to expose the selfish nature of capitalist societies and the cost paid by those in other places. Amid a growing trend of “trendy” environmentalism, she aims to be an example of real, accessible behavioural change that can shape the future of our planet and societies. Put in your earbuds to hear an unfiltered (haha, get it?) conversation about Fast Fashion and Sustainability!
